At the beginning of the experiment:
- Enable Physio Recording (Legacy Mode) in MB-CMRR Sequence
- Navigate to the last section of the MB-Sequence under "Sequence->Special"
- Enable Physio Recording (Legacy Mode. DICOM is still not available)
- Exit Kiosk Mode of Numaris
- Running Physio Signal Logging through Command Prompt:
- Open the Command Prompt application on the scanner console (cmd)
- In the Command Prompt window, type the following command ideacmdtool and press Enter
- Selecting PMU Control and Signal Logging:
- Within the ideacmdtool interface, you'll likely encounter menus or options. Use the provided navigation keys (arrows, numbers) to select the following options:
- PMU Control (Physio Measurement Unit Control) --> OPTION 1
- PMU Signal Logging --> Option 2
- Enabling Desired Signals for Logging:
- Navigate through the options to choose the specific physiological signals you want to record during the scan (e.g., ECG, Respiration, Pulse...). Each system might have a different way to select these options.
- Pulse enable: 8
- Pulse disable: 9
- Respiration enable: 6
- Respiration disable: 7
- Log ALL: 12
- disable Log ALL: 13
- Setting a SPECIAL_NAME:
- You'll likely be prompted to define a name for the log file. Enter a descriptive name (SPECIAL_NAME) to identify the specific scan and logged signals.
- Running the Experiment:
- Once you've configured the Physio Recording options and set the SPECIAL_NAME, proceed with your MRI experiment as usual. The chosen physiological signals will be logged during the scan.
- Finding the Log Files:
- After the scan is complete, navigate to the following directory on the scanner console:
C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Numaris\log - Press Windows Key + E together.
- You should find your log files named with the chosen SPECIAL_NAME prefixed with either ".resp" (response) or ".puls" (pulse) extension, depending on the data format.
- You can find the same logs by using the "Quick Access" option
- In the File Explorer window, on the left-hand side, you should see a section titled "Quick access." Click on it.
- If you don't see "Quick Access," click on "Home" and then navigate to the folder.
- In the "Quick Access" or the folder you navigated to (C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Numaris\log), you should see a shortcut or a folder named "log." Click on it to open the log files.
- After the scan is complete, navigate to the following directory on the scanner console:
At the end of the experiment:
-
- Transferring Data and Disabling Physio Login
- Turn on Network on Stimulus PC using the Switch (Note: This might require physical interaction with the equipment)
- Turning a switch on the Stimulus PC to position "A."
- Copy Data to Stimulus PC:
- You have two options for transferring your data files (".resp" and ".puls") from the Console to the Stimulus PC:
- Open File Explorer on the scanner console.
- Navigate to the "Daten" folder on the Stimulus PC. This might involve accessing a network drive.
- Use the standard copy and paste functions (Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V) to copy the data files from the Console folder to the "Daten" folder.
- Network Share: "\\10.4.0.245" might be a network share on the Stimulus PC. You can access it by opening File Explorer on the scanner console and entering the network address in the address bar.
- Use the standard copy and paste functions to copy the data files from the Console folder to the network share location.
- Copy Data to the Cloud:
- Once you have the data in the stimulus pc, select the desired files (".resp" and ".puls") and upload them to your cloud storage
- Delete Data from Console:
- Once you have safely copied your data elsewhere, you can delete the original files from the Console. Use the standard deletion process (select the files and press Delete key).
- Disable Physio Login in Command Prompt
- Open the Command Prompt application on the scanner console.
- In the Command Prompt window (under the ideacmdtool menu), type the following command and press Enter:
- physio login disable 13
- Close Command Prompt:
- In the Command Prompt window, type exit and press Enter to close the application.
- Back to the Kiosk Mode
